Sports Cars Limited are proud to announce that after being in negotiation
with Renault Sport UK and Renault Sport Technologies, the Javan R1 sports
car range will now be powered by the 2 Ltr Renault Sport Clio Cup engine and
6 speed gearbox, developing around 210bhp in the Javan Chassis. The upcoming
Javan R1R Track car will be using the Renault Sport 2 Ltr Turbo unit with an
expected power output of approximately 230bhp. Both versions will have the
cost option of the brilliant Sadev 6 speed sequential gearbox. JSC Managing
Director, Javan Smith commented, " We approached Renault Sport UK some time
ago and can only give credit to the assistance, enthusiasm and
professionalism of the Renault Sport principles for this project. We feel as
though we have Renault's support at every turn and view this association as
the beginning of a long term relationship which will expand and develop over
the next few years. With Javan's advanced design thinking, and construction
principals using only top quality suppliers and materials, we are proud to
be associated with a powertrain supplier who has, and always had, total
commitment to all levels of European and World Motorsport, from the Clio Cup
series through Formula Renault to Renault F1".

Our Honda powered demonstrator is for sale
Due
to the headline news story above, our black demonstrator, chassis #002 is
for sale. This car has never been tracked and apart from the old man taking
it home occasionally, has only been used for publicity, shows and
photography. Registered new March 2008 (08 plate), #002 has only covered
around 1000 miles, develops 220bhp, weights 670 Kilos and completes the 0-60
rush in 3.6 seconds. Apart from being brutally fast, this Javan R1 is
refined with perfect road manners. Full works support and upgrades for 12
months. Offers in the region of 25K plus vat are sought. We will email
photographs to any interested party.

We are attending this superb show which is the biggest of its type in the
world, encompassing the entire Messe Essen exhibition centre. We will be
taking our metallic black Honda powered Javan R1 if unsold. Stand number 112

Also on display will be two examples of our brand new 1 meter long Porsche
956 “wall mountings” in Warsteiner and Rothmans liveries. A real talking
point on the office or motorhouse wall.
